in this chapter jem has reached the age of twelve and he tells scout to start acting more like a girl he becomes upset but he cant wait for dills arrival and he sends him a letter saying that his mom got remarried so he has a new father. calpurina is taking them to a colored church that sunday and its a friendly chruch so they will welcome everyone there the church doesnt have much money though. When they return home they see that there aunt alexandra is waiting for them

To Kill a Mockingbird by: Harper Lee Chp 9-11

Scout nearly starts a fight with a classmate named Cecil Jacobs, Atticus has been asked to defend Tom Robinson, a black man accused of raping a white woman. It is a case he cannot hope to win, but he tells Scout that he must argue it. Also there was a mad dog wondering, and they asked Scout to shoot the dog down so he did and first shot hit him and now he wants to show it off the town, and brag about it.

To Kill a Mockingbird by: Harper Lee Chp 7-8

After a new school year has begun Jem and scout found a pair of pants that were hanging over a fence and after awhile no one took them so they took them for there self, but in the meantime they found another present hidden in a knothole and they leave it to see if anyone claims it and they don’t so they take it for there own. Scout does not like second grade like she did first grade and Jem tells her that it will get better as the time goes on. Later in the fall a present shows up again and its in a knothole again and it’s a carved soap that resembles scout and jem. The figures are followed in turn by chewing gum, spelling bee medal and an old pocket watch. The next day they go back to the knothole and its filled with cement.

The chapters are about Jem and scouts childhood memories. Dill and Boo Radley are also show up in this chapter and they play a game called “boo Radley game” and they try to show boo a message. Boo’s character is transformed from a monster to a human being. They start with putting presents in Radleys tree and scout does not realize who was putting them there. Miss Maudie shows up in this chapter and she knows that boo is no demon but boo has suffered from being in a very religious family.

A successful lawyer makes living in Maycomb. A cook named Calpurina helps and keep the house in good condition. I started reading this book and I'm already bored of it, nothing really exciting has happened hopefully if I keep reading something will happen. Walter's Family is the poor, and Atticus is the wealthy family. Also in chapter 2 it was Scout's first day of school, it shows that he can't read well and he is also not that educated

My Bloody Life Chapt. 8-10

Reymundo's mom and Pedro chose to move back to Puerto Rico because Pedro had a better paying job over their. However Reymundo did not want to leave because of Jenny the girl he is seeing now, he told her he would do anything to come back home to Chicago. So just a few weeks living in Puerto Rico, he received child abuse so Reymundo's mom thought it'd be best if he moves back to Chicago because she didn't want to deal with it in Puerto Rico. So he arrived to Chicago to stay with his older step brother Hector, but right away Reymundo couldn't wait to surprise Jenny and let her know he is back. I predict that Reymundo is going to get into a lot more trouble in the cold streets of Chicago because he doesn't have his mom there.

My Bloody Life Chpt. 6-7

So far in the book Reymundo the main character, really like this girl named Jenny. He then started talking to her in the school he went to, and soon led to walking her home from school. He then met Jenny's brother who is part of the Latin Kings. Jenny's brother already thinks he is part of a different gang but Reymundo denies it because all he does is hang out with them. So then Jenny's brother makes Reymundo do a mission to prove he is no "punk" when he is going out with his sister. I predict in the future that Reymundo is soon going to join the Latin Kings.

My Bloody Life Chapt. 5-6

The predictions I made of Reymundo, Noel, Jorge, and Julio joining the Latin Disciples was wrong. Reymundo ended up moving to the Northside of Chicago moving away from Noel, Jorge, Julio. He then started hanging out with a different gang called the Lords. Reymundo always got beat up by his parents more by his step father named Pedro for no apparent reason. He would just get home and he would get beat up, so he would try and escape that child abuse and just be with his friends thought accepted him for who he is. I have a prediction that he will become a Lord, because he is starting to hang out with them a lot.

My Bloody Life Chp 1-4

I started reading this interesting book, and I'm barley starting chapter four. This book already has a lot of things going on. The main character was born in Puerto Rico his name was Reymundo Sanchez, his mom was only sixteen when he married an incredibly old man, the age of seventy four. He died when Reymundo was barley 5 years old, so he didn't have memories he can remember with him. They moved to the Windy City known as Chicago, Reymundo, his sister, and his mom lived on the Southside of Chicago. During the time they moved in Reymundo's mom started seeing a guy named Emilio when the time passed Emilio got the mom pregnant and after he found out she was pregnant he soon vanished and never returned to the home, he said he had problems with the law so he disappeared. After that she found another guy who's name was Pedro who had good amounts of money, he then took Reymundo's mom, Reymundo himself, and his sister to live in the Northside of Chicago close to Humboldt Park. I have a prediction that Reymundo is soon going to join the  Latin Disciples with his three friends Noel, Jorge, and Julio.

My Bloody Life: By Reymundo Sanchez

This book i've read part of it and it really interested me because this can be the life of any teenage kid who's involved in a gang. Many people don't understand why people or kids join gangs but sometimes you may have to do it. The most I read up to was that he was a baseball player and he turned away from both baseball and school to escape the childhood abuse he was receiving. He started doing drugs and alcohol and soon turned into gang violence. This story is also based in Chicago. This reminds me of all the gangs there is in Chicago, because if you think of it this could be an everyday life story of a young child between the ages of 8-21. I personally would never join a gang I think its dumb because you'll just end up in one of 3 places, in a coffin, hospital or in jail, but sometimes to join a gang for people is not an option it may be there priority to join a gang.
